Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SwipeWise ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

The Service

SwipeWise helps you pick which of your credit cards to use for each purchase and keeps track of card benefits, credits, and expiry dates. It provides information only — it is not financial advice. Card benefits, rates, and offers are set by the card issuers and can change at any time; the issuer's own terms always govern.

Accounts

You register with an email address and are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done under it. One account per person. If you suspect unauthorized use, let us know right away.

Premium subscription

Premium costs $6 per month or $60 per year, billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime: in Settings, open Subscription & app and choose Manage subscription — that opens the Stripe billing portal, where you cancel in a few clicks. When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, your account moves back to the free plan — nothing is deleted. If we change Premium pricing, we will announce it in advance, by email and on this page, at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Refunds

We don't refund partial billing periods, except where the law requires it. If a charge fails or is duplicated by mistake, we refund it in full.

Acceptable use

Use the Service fairly: no automated scraping that burdens our systems, no reselling the Service, and no illegal use.

Data & privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we store only the last 4 digits of your cards — never full card numbers.

Accuracy of information

The card benefits, rewards rates, credits, fees, deadlines, and other information shown in SwipeWise are based on publicly available sources and are reviewed and updated periodically. Issuers change their programs and terms frequently and without notice, so information may not be current, complete, or accurate at any given time. Point and mile values are estimates. SwipeWise provides information for general guidance only; it is not financial advice. Always confirm a card's current terms with the issuer before applying, enrolling, or making a purchase. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwipeWise is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on information shown in the service.

Availability & liability

The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that using SwipeWise will save any particular amount. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
